How to Decorate Long Student Desk for Bedroom?

There's no need to go out and spend a lot of money on a desk for your bedroom when you can make one yourself. Just follow these simple tips:

1. Choose a long dresser or chest to serve as the desk's base. This will give you plenty of room to spread out, plus it will look less cluttered than an individual desk stand would.

2. Use empty drawers from your wardrobe or chest to store books, folders, and other items that you'll need while working in bed (e.g., laptop, charger). You can also create storage areas in the front and back of the desk itself using small crates or containers, handy for holding pens and paper scraps.

3. Arrange bedside tables near the entrance to your bedroom so that you can perch your laptop on top and keep a glass of water nearby. Alternatively, place a couple of flowering plants in this space to add some whimsy (and freshness) to your work area. 4. Choose a comfortable chair or ottoman for yourself, and place it near the desk to take advantage of extra seating while working. If you prefer standing, use tallboy or end tables as footrests while typing.

5. Add some soft lighting by installing Track Lighting near the ceiling and placing floor-length lamps nearest to where you'll be sitting (ideally situated so that they cast light onto your work area). You can also purchase a movable bed stand lamp that attaches easily to your bed's headboard – perfect for turning on before getting out of bed in the morning.

6. As for decorating, keep things simple – choose a neutral palette of whites, blacks, and off-whites to create a sleek and modern look. And if you're feeling artistic, try stenciling or painting your desk using complementary colors to enhance the appearance of your work surface.
